Big block ram air deal

The box is 12x14, the filter has been sized to feed 426 cubic inches at 6000 rpm. I cut a hole in the hood tight as i could to the box and have a demon dual snorkel scoop feeding this deal. The air box sits just at the bottom of the hood as well.

Nice. With that hole did you have to build support into the hood to stop it from being flimsy?

No this is a beefy glass hood weight is 13-15 lbs. i told the guy that built it that i wanted a street car pin on hood .like the 69 super bee. So he added some foam bracing. Also the hood scoop keeps the hood from being flimsy.

Thanks i got the carb signal fixed as well, i had to run a tube between the vent tubes with a small hole cut in the top. I also had to go up in squirter size. and one final tune, was to adjust the 4 corner idle with the filter in place. there was a 1/2 turn difference in the screws with filter on and off. Launch at 1200 rpm swap feet and boil the tires.
