ANY ONE GOT ANY PICS OF EARLY BIG BLOCK A BODYS IM GONNA PUT A 383 IN MY 66 VALIANT just WANT SOMETHIN TO GET IDEAS FROM. THANKS

I knew someone in 1977 that was putting a 361 into
a 1966 2dr sedan Valiant.

I asked "Why?"'
He said the /6 was dead,and the 361 was just rebuilt.

I know he was cursing a lot while working on it;
but,when it was done; :notworth:

He put an 8 3/4 to put into it, with 3:55 gears.

Tire Smoke!!! :) wow from the 6:50x 13's LOL.

lots of tire smoke and very nose heavy, IMHO for a drag car with fender wall headers OK use a big block for duel use or a road car use small block, LA or 4.7.

Now what about the new hemi?? its is a small block yes?

i agree with the BB for drag use, but why not go with a big BB (440)? just my .02

i would think the new Hemi is not too easy of a swap. what about trannys? the only swaps i've seen use the 5 spd auto...... :wack:

I'm working on putting a 493 (stroker 440) in my 66 barracuda. It's a bit of a job, but is definitely worth it.
