contacted him last week about doing a dist. for me. i gave him the info he needed and two days later i had a tracking number for it. great service and good guy to talk to.
he made a couple pig tails for an easy HEI hook up. i have to mount the plate still. hope to find some mpg with it too. he says if i don't like it that he will tweak it to to where i want free of charge. can't beat that.
i have been wanting to stick a stock style dist. in the car for a while. losing a fuel pump during sick smokies just sealed the deal for me. the msd rtr dist has been maintenance free but if it happens to go then I'm **** outta luck. i have a new pickup for ot in the trunk at all times but to replace it i think i have to pull the entire thing apart on the side of the road. stock style i can do pretty easily and i have a few known good ones around here i could always just plug and play.
now i have to find time to swap this baby on.
oh. i mentioned that i have an adapter to run a Magnum cap because i prefer the male cap connection of them over the stock female. he turned me on to summit who sells a clip on cap with male connections. perfect.
