Billet fuel filler assembly and cap??

Looking to add a billet aluminum fuel filler and cap to my 72’ Dart. Only one I’ve found is with Classic Industries, and it’s a universal fit - some fab may be required.

Well I got this one, and while it’s a very nice piece, it doesn’t fit - and the amount of fab work required to make it fit stops me from going any further.

Does anyone know of another source, or mfg, or any place where I could get something like this that actually fits? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for the suggestion. I like the idea, but think it's about the same level of fab than if I just kept the filler and cap that I have. Until i exhaust all resources, would like to try and find something that doesn't require lots of fab.

The cap I have from Classic Industries is from Ridetech.
