Hey everyone, for anyone within driving distance of Wellington, Colorado, my oldest brother John is turning 40 next Saturday (February 20th) and we are planning a surprise party/open house.
Here’s an excerpt from an email that my brother Lamar, who helping out with the planning, sent me today.
A few points for Saturday: Ruthie is handling Saturday
Saturday is free for all, whether you know John or not, so invite people, bring your families and your fun times.
I believe that starts at 2pm. Barbecue will be provided, enough said.
There is a silent auction so please bring something for that. The cooler the item the better but something is better than nothing. John will not be knowing this either, but all proceeds from the silent auction will be going to him as well. The more things to sell the more fun it will be.
Also on Saturday we will be having a car/toy show, John loves motor toys. Bring/borrow/steal/rent a cool car/truck/motorcylce/atv/side by side/or whatever you can.
There also may or may not be some tannerite getting blown up at some point as well.
More fun times will be guaranteed.
So to any members close enough, or if you wanna make a roadtrip out of it (I plan on driving my Duster out from Kentucky if I get it put back together in time!), please come join us! And bring your car buddies with you!! Feel free to reach out to me for any more info!
