Blown ball joint boots

I was under the "daily Duster" adjusting the torsion bars to get better clearance for speed bumps when I noticed that some of the boots on the driver side tie rod ends are shot and the boot on the lower ball joint is split :angry: The parts are just over a year old and I thinking that they shouldn't be wearing so soon, anyone else have this happen? The parts are your average Moog replacement stuff from the local auto parts place. :angry7:

I went with the Energy Suspension Poly tie rod and ball joint boots. A couple bucks more but a friend said they last longer.

When i did my dart a couple years ago, i ordered my boots from enegry suspension polyurethane, They still look new can't rember but they didn't cost much

I think they were $6 a set for the tie rod and maybe $10 for the ball joint. Not much at all.

They used to offer them in blue, soyou might call around, to see if any are still lingering on shelves.
