There are a few folks that have asked me to post some of the band's vids.
The concept of a band here is not quite what exists. While a core group of players that may eventually become a band, is starting to emerge, this is about actually making music with all of the friends I have made here in Austin. The videos are from a weekly blues jam and there is no telling who will show up. The first link is to a slow minor blues tune. While this may not be an accomplishment for you seasoned players, playing tunes in a minor key has always been a problem for me. That is because Im tuned to an open E major. Also the lack of frets has hampered the effort for others to teach me. Because of the prodding/teaching of a couple of these friends, I think I have a basic grasp understanding of what not to play (very important in a minor key)
