Just about every 71 scamp I have seen on the internet has body color fender top turn signals.

Did they all come body color regardless of color on 71 scamps or was it a popular option ??

anyone have some info on that??

All 1971 plymouth models had body color fender mount turn indicators. I had a Fury, Roadrunner, Satellite, Scamp, and Duster all with the same painted indicators.

are the body colored 71 signals the same size as the chrome ones ??

they look bigger for some reason

No they are not the same and yes they are bigger. There is three holes in the fender.

I have fenders that had them from the factory off of the car . I can trace them and their location on a paper scan it and send it to you through this post if you need when you get a set. If you buy a set make sure they work and the light bulb socket can be removed. Once they are corroded they don't come apart easy . They sell them new classic industries has them but there is also other venders at lower prices.

My 68 Roadrunner had chrome, 71 Duster 340 was body color and 74 Duster has chrome.

Is there a way to get the lens out of a factory one with out breaking it? I have a set of chrome ones for my 70 Duster but kinda want to make them body color.
