Hey Mark sorry for slow reply.
The car does have some rust around the rear window and lower rear quarters.
440/727 runs but needs brakes. Has the switch panel and correct radio, but not the mechanical siren. rechromed bumpers.
I had spoke to the owner about it and once he mentioned the rust (it was pulled from an Arizona wrecking yard) I dropped it from my mind so sorry about that.
Its rare and a niche thing.
Ill get pics if you are still interested.
As far as "project car", I would say yes to a guy that wants a real CHP car because those guys are gonna wanna restore it.

No bout any delay. It’s a work in progress. Searching for a car 1st. Not wanting to restore necessarily. Just put my 440 in something to cruise in that don’t need much work or money.maybe make a “Blues Bros” copy….. dunno.
