Sub frame connectors are no more than a 2x3 .125 piece of rectangle tube, with 6" of the top cut out so you can place it around the rear frame rail, the a 'fish plate' at the front to cover, which is a piece of that tube you cut off earlier, welded to the front of the tube to provide 'ears' to weld to. They take about $35 in steel a side from the yard.
