When moser changes the bolt pattern are they using a knurled stud or do they drill and tap the flange and then thread in a stud?
Do they reinforce the flange in any way?
Could you make a ring and press in on the flange to add reinforcement?

Are you talking about stock axles for Moser's axles? I wouldn't think they would need reinforcement if they are filling in the old holes. As for press in for threaded studs I think that would be up to the customer.

if you send them stock axles and they redrill them they can make them press in studs or screw in. If memory serves me correctly they do not reinforce or fill in the original holes. If you need some help on this or info you can call Ron Hill at Pyle Bros. Differentials. Phone # is (281) 421-5878. They deal with Moser and Strange.

Go with the 1/2" please....... loosing a back wheel while the fronts are in the air is not a happy circumstance.

You definetly need the 1/2......I'd also opt for the screw in studs so they can easily be changed when they become fatigued.
