Borgeson conversion

Has anyone used this with either tti or Doug's headers? I have a 67 dart small block 4 speed manual steering was thinking about doing this, their box looks small, Borgeson says clearance should not be an issue because their box is small like the manual box, anyone confirm?? Thanks

I have a small block, TTI’s and a Borgeson box. The box is definitely smaller than a Mopar stock unit, and lighter too. I have the 73 and up spool mount k member in my 72 Dart. I was label to slightly shift the power steering box using the minor amount of clearance on the boxes bolts. I also did the same thing to the engine, by shifting it towards the passenger side. This worked for me.

I have Borgeson boxes on my A body, E Body and a 58 Chevy truck. So I may be a little biased.. lol

I always look to Peter Bergman when I need Borgeson advice. @BergmanAutoCraft

Just completed my changeover to a p/s kit from Pete Bergman as well. 68 Dart 340 with TTI headers. No issue with clearance.

I love my borgeson box. I had a flaming river one before. The borgeson box is hands down the best steering upgrade I've done to my Mopar.

borgenson box is an awesome upgrade. feels great.. no slop like a stock style box. the extra room is nice too.. mine hisses a bit but not enough to be annpoying.

I have the set up in my 67 B Body and can take pics for you. If it'll help you out.

That is what I have in my 67 dart they tell me no problem but would like to hear real world use

@Dartsun I appreciate it, but the clearance in a B body is better than an A body anyway. It will probably work fine for my Duster combo, just wanting to hear what others have seen with a like combo. I guess I'm getting paranoid from working on an Early A (65 Barracuda) too long....lol.
