so as all you guys know, once we have kids we get to buy them all the toys we never had ourselves and live vicariously through them

well, for the last year or so, ive been trying to convince my 5 year old that he should pick out a certain nerf gun
well, I finally gave up and told the missus, I'm buying that nerf gun...for me

so, now I am the proud owner of a bolt action nerf gun

Getting my 8 year old daughter a Savage Mark 2 youth rifle in .22. Thought when I read the title you were doing something similar.

My first gun was a mark 2...great gun

(I think my boy was 4 when he first shot that)

It is actually rather similar to the nerfgun I bought, with the scope and the bolt action...that's one of the reasons I wanted it for him
