I have a 64 Dodge Dart GT that has a 4 speed in it and I was wondering if dodge was installing them from the beginning or started in 67 or 68 . The area I'm talking about for the front of the car is between the frame rail and the rocker panel just behind the front wheels and the rear of the car there would be one mounted between the frame rail and the front leaf spring hanger area .

I believe that was only factory big block cars and convertibles. I could be wrong, but I don't think there is any chance of a factory equipped 64 dart with reinforced torque boxes. It isn't hard to add them just make sure to unseize your leaf hanger nuts while you can get at them good and leave an access hole for the nuts.

Thanks guys I have seen them on a friends 69 4 speed Dart Swinger ( Hardtop) and was just wondering if my car ( a 4 speed ) was supposed to have them also .
