Hello again. Can someone help me understand the optimal length for the push rod in an OEM Brake Booster (Midland-Ross 7 1/4 in)? Service manual says 0.910-0.920 in from gasket surface but my M/C bore hole depth is measured as 0.945 w/o using the "H-Tool". My "H Tool" has been ordered so maybe my measurements are sloppy and incorrect. Sorry just trying to correct poor set-up in my M/C and Brake Booster assy.
Should I adjust length after gasket surface to equal hole length of 0.945 with a very small clearance of maybe 0.020 between M/C and Brake Booster push rod?
