Got the drum off and the only problem is the outer race does not fit tight.

Is there any fix, or do I need another drum?

I was thinking JB weld might hold it.

new race or old one?
what is it off of?
pics would help,
is the drum cracked? if so replace it,
did the bearing seize and spin the race?

New race, the old one was destroyed getting it off..it was stuck to the spindle. I had a hell of a time with it so as not to destroy other parts getting it off. We had to heat up the old bearing and sdig it out to get the drum out.

Sounds like you need a hub and maybe a spindle too?

If the race isn't real loose, you could try peening the hub temporarily. Also, will need to use loctite or similar. Let it setup overnight.

How does the spindle look? Did you try and fit the new bearing on the spindle to check for looseness?

Spindle looks pretty good.
OUCH indeed!

The hub/drum looks real good except for the race being loose inside. I was hoping to use something to stabilize and secure the race without needing a Drum.
I have a friend who will donate a drum..but I hate to take it. These small town people are so damn nice ya know....

drum fits on hub, hub fits on spindle
drums are easy to get, hubs are not
I would replace it
