Brake light switch

Hey guys, just noticed my brake lights are not working because the weird little connection is getting stuck in the plastic. Any short tips or tricks to fix this? All that is happening is the switch is rotating so when I hit the brakes, it's not getting pulled down to the ground.

Well, if you can't fix it you're going to have to find a replacement, either new or used. There's no way around it.

Well for now I tied a zip tie around it loosely to keep it angled how I need to. It's worked flawlessly all of tonight, so I'm not afraid to drive it now, I just want a permanent solution.

I have one from a 75 duster dash harness that I obtained at MOPAR Nationals in columbus this year. I have all the parts I need off of it. It appears to work ok. You can have it for the cost of shipping. Just let me know.
