i'm doing a scarebird setup for front disc brakes on my '65 valiant and was wondering if anyone could offer some insight as to what size lines would be best to put in. it's a 7 1/4" rear with 9" drums.

the original mc had a 1/4" line going down to the distribution block and 3/16" lines going from the block to both the front brakes and it looks like a 3/16" going to the rear. i'm putting in a dual disc/drum mc from a '71 dart in. it seems reasonable to keep the 3/16" line going from the rear mc-->proportioning valve-->rear brakes, but should i keep the 1/4" to the dist block from the front reservoir and then 3/16" to each front brake, or do they need 1/4" since they're switched from drum to disc?

I used the factory 1/4 in brake lines when I did the same brake swap on my dad's 64 Valiant. The ruber disc brake hoses that go from the hard line to the caliper bolted right in.
