I'm assuming brake drum size is measured on the inside of the drum. Mine are 9". Is 9" standard front brake shoe size on my '72 Swinger. A mechanic said I have a Demon front end. I'm confused.

In 1971 Dodge took the Dart front end and put it on a Duster and called it a Demon. So he is kind of half right. Yes 9" drums were standard.
