brake swap?

i have a 8 3/4 rear that i wanna swap into my 68 dart, and i wanna carry over the brakes from the original rear end, , but they are the small pattern,(5x 4in) is there a drum i can swap from an newer duster/dart to fit the new rear end. or is there a kit i can buy ?? any help would be great !!

Which car did the 8 3/4 rear end come out of? Does your Dart have 9 or 10 inch brakes on the rear? Answer those questions and we can help. It sounds to me like you are wanting to keep the brakes that are on the Dart and swap rear ends. Do I have that right?

hi, the 8 3/4 came out of another 68 dart originally, and my dart just has the small 9 inch drums. my plan is yes, keep the brakes that are on the car but swap rear ends.
