Bucket seats frame purchase question

If you buy bucket seat frames that have been media blasted, would you rather buy them raw or with rattle can self etching black primer

As long as I knew that the person/place I was buying them from would do a good job of priming, then Id rather buy them already primed, save me the hassle. Thats especially true if I was buying them and having them shipped to me, raw steel needs to be protected asap to minimize the formation of rust.

Prime them as soon as they are finished being cleaned. Flash rust can start very quickly given the right humidity and moisture in the air.

Then you have to repeat the whole cleaning process again to prevent rust in the future.
