what would be better? i know building one is endless in upgrades but lets say building one would cost $2000 more than a factory on with 10,000miles on it. i would be porting the heads in either but do the 6.4's make more power than the 5.7 heads? what about cams, are they the same or are there better choices with the 6.4 ? any info/opinions would be appreiciated.
build a 6.4 or factory 6.4 ???

6.4 OEM engine is a VVT engine and in some case an MDS engine too. An aftermarket cam is around $800 for one of those. And do you plan manage it?

We have a system out now that can control the VVT Motors, For the 392 to make the most power I would base it off a older 5.7 or 6.1 block and stroke it. the Apache heads do not make that big of a difference over 6.1 or 5.7 eagle Heads
