Stock 94 360 magnum just pulled from a Dart, std bore, very little ridge in cyls, hone marks present
Ill be puting some nitrous on it. Looking for recommendations for a Good quality set of file fit rings for stock bore pistons
Decent cam bearings, Rod and mains
Copper head gasket

Without breaking the bank

None of those parts are very expensive. Just use brand name parts, such as Total Seal, Sealed Power etc for rings. Durabond for cam brgs. Federal Mogul, Clevite etc for rod & m brgs.

If the bores look good and the engine had good compression id leave to short block alone. Just refresh the heads do a valve job and let er rip.

Piss on breakin the bank. Here you go.

I’d be the one to try it. I’m good at blowing **** up. I just wouldn’t want to hurt anything blower related. $$$
I think it would be a LONG TIME before you hurt a stock Mopar bottom end at 10PSI....UNLESS you were stupid enough to run it lean. That'd do it.

I remember that "Junkyard Dog" 360 that I think it was Car Craft that originally did it. Just pulled a 360 outta a junkyard, got it runnin and put more and more nitrous on it trying to blow it up and they never could. I believe they ended up with a 300HP plate shot on it but the trick was they kept fattening it up as they went and all it did was run faster and faster.

Wonder how much spray a stock magnum bottom end would hold. Im curious to see what the factory ring gap is. Im willing to bet that would be the first thing to fail.

If you regap the rings,,,, it’ll be fine for a good dose of N02. I would not pound the crap out of it. It’ll probably take a 150 shot all day long & for a long while without issue of you tap the rings accordingly.
