I have a bumble bee stripe that's been in a box for about 12 years. What kind of shelf life do those things have? Should a new one be ordered or would it be ok to put that old one on?

I think the conditions it is stored in will be a deciding factor.
Humidity
Temperature
Other environmental things like gasoline fumes, exhost etc.
If the manufacturer is still in business I would call them, a local vinyl sign shop might shed some light too.

Its no good if its that old. I myself have tried to put on old decals & they never came out right. Some times the backing or the front will not come off. For what they costs get a new one.

I think that they will be fine. I do some stupid stuff sometimes . I bought the stripes for my ‘cuda when I first started to restore it and 16 years later we put them on the car. Now if they were original NOS stripes I would not install them.

Local company says 2-3 years shelf life. Think I’ll just get a new one and not risk it. Thanks all!
