I've decided that it is cheaper to just buy a whole polyurethane bushing kit now, instead of buying the spring bushings now and worrying about the front end when I get to it. What do you guys think about the Energy Suspension kits. They say the black ones are self lubricating and the red ones aren't Which one should I get???

I have used the red Energy Suspension kit on a jeep, they send you the grease, I was very happy with the product, I used the PST kit on my Dart and was very dissapointed with it, the boots all all deteriorated and fell apart within 6 months.

I got some poly bushings through PST and no problems, I don`t know about their rubber boots, etc.. I also got some disc pads from PST and they were at least 20 years old..... OK though ,still in the original package. I`ve never heard any bad things about Energy Suspension. Moog and TRW also make alot of high quality parts that are available at local parts stores.

Thanks a lot for the guidance. So do you think it is better to get the set or get the pieces as I need them? I think the Energy Suspension kit comes with end links. I won't have a sway bar. Is there a kit that comes with just the parts I need?

all suspension companies sell either energy or prothane. PST stuff is energy, look at the #'s on the bushings. just suspension uses prothane. PSC uses both I believe. either way, use the silicone lube they send you. use it liberally, install, then wipe off excess. you can buy extra containers of lube if needed.

all kits comes with end links but not with inner tie rods or adjusters, or pitman arms. you have to add those on. if you do, go with the 11/16" tie rods and adjusting sleeves, they are 50% stronger than the stock 9/16" ones.
