Came out of a '66 New Yorker. I pulled it about two years ago with the intention of cutting it down to a-body width. Ended up getting a great price on an A-body unit, so I don't need this one anymore. Trying to finance gears for the A-body Unit! Ha!
Width is 56 3/4 flange to flange.
742 Case, 2.76 gears (I believe), and it's an open diff. There are some small chips on the ring gear, so it would probably need replacing anyway.'
I have no earthly clue how much c-body rears are going for these days, so let's say $300 +shipping if you want to ship. I am more than happy to negotiate. @moderator, please let me know if I am sniffing glue at that price.
