i gotta 8 3/4 from a 64 newport will this work under my dart or will i have to have it cut down? i know the spring perchs will be off but by how much?

I think it will be way to wide for it. It is a real big car.
I have used B body and E body rears in Dusters before with only
changing the spring mounts. Anybody else?

I think C body will be to wide also. I may use a B body rear in my new car. Its about 2" wider then an A body so more offset will fix it.

the 8.75 i got measured 54 3/4 and the 7 1/4 was 47 3/8. the spring perches were about 3/4s difference. so do yall think it will be to wide? i forgot my paper with the measurements on it but thats close to what it was.

Yeah absolutely, unless you think over three inches wider on each side will look OK. I think that would look kinda weird, personally. Maybe you could get some really big wheels and super low profile tires, jack the rear way up in the air and make it look like one of those Hot Wheels cars my kids play with.
