Cam Choice??

Good Day. Its cam choice and I am totally clueless at it. Heres the specs:Block is 030,oil passage mod,decked 080,Head shaved 080,ported to the Aussie gasket,polished,large valves,stiff springs,dual shortie headers,hurricane intake ported to gasket,8 3/4 rear gears ??,auto trans. Thats all I can think of looking for a daily driver with power. Appreciate all the help as always.

You left out gear ratio and converter stall speed. Pretty critical for camshaft selection.

Gears I'm currently working on a 3.55,stall so far none. I'm not really sure on that one. Open to any advice or whatever else I may need for this.

This might be a good read for you. If you're planning on using a solid lifter camshaft, similar specs will apply.

I agree with Franks advice,my old motor had the Erson 280/270 and was street driven and went low 13s.Guzzi Mark
