My Soninlaw and I just tore down an engine that came in a car we are working on.We thought we were finished but after we got everything done! We noticed that the engine had a slight bottom end noise that sounded like a main bearing.Well we decided to pull the engine and tear it down to see what was what.It sure was not what we were told it was when I got the car .20 over mains and .40 over rods and .40 over pistons and all the rod and piston bearings looked like GARBAGE! The engine sure did sound NICE but when all the exhaust etc was done ETC you could hear there was a slight problem that was going to turn into a LARGE one! The cam we pulled from it has 211240 on the front and has the purple markings between two of the front lobes.Can someone tell me what the lift is on this cam.I looked at some sites but could not locate the cam I have.So If one of you guys know anything let me know.I am going to use a new cam with the new engine block and want to use the same lift cam.
