Thank you everyone who submitted ideas for waking up my stock 381 Dart! Changing out the cam was suggested by a few folks. What type of cam would be enough to maximize the potential of my motor without sacrificing a comfortable idle. I do not plan on racing the car but I want to feel confident that my Dart could get up and go when I need it to. I am considering an Edelbrock Performer and Edelbrock 1406 4 barrel carb. I changed the points to Mopar Performance electronic ignition and I plan on adding duel exhaust.

as per your previous thread http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=243970

Probably a eddy performer intake cause its got smaller ports to work with 318 heads and their 600 carb, but the best up grade would be cam stock cam is pretty weak even a Comp or Lunati 256 cam would be a big improvement a long with a free flowing exhaust.

I liked my P4452759 Purple shaft in a similar low budget 318 -
