Cam regrind with a rust pitted cam lobe tip?

I'm open to suggestions for a cam that is about maximizing torque potential.. 4000RPM is probably the top of the realistic RPM range.. and usually 1200-3000 in each gear.. will add compression, and maybe larger valves..
The slant 6 works well at RPM where it makes torque. My car, for example, I usually shift at about 4K with normal driving if I am out on the road. In the city of course, lower. I do get frisky now and then and stretch it to 5500. I've had it to about 6100. It was still pulling. Smaller cube engines generally perform well at higher RPM than their larger V8 counterparts. Using a larger cam than stock moves the power band even higher in the rpm range. Just some things to consider. Lastly, those reverse grinds do work, but I believe in all their testing, they did not find any power advantage whatsoever using them. That's not to say they don't make power. Just not any more than a conventional grind.
