I use them in everything, including my 11 second street Demon's 416, a bracket 367 and all my Magnum-powered trucks and Durango. Never seen an excessively worn thrust block and the timing stays steady instead of flopping around after a very few miles, even with a double roller set. The long distance between the cam/crank centerlines make a tensioner essential to prevent chain whip! Just my .02c!
