Need some feedback. I have a good used Isky type 280 HL #390128 camshaft that I want to install in my new 360 build. Isky recommends the #6005 springs for this cam at $145+ a set. Is the right spring set going to be worth the money spent or should I just use a good set of stock springs in this build. What are the pros and cons in this situation, besides + or - $145???

Yes, the springs will be worth it. If you have the wrong springs the valves will float or bind causing major damage. The springs should also be installed at the recommended installed height and checked for coil bind, the cam should be degreed and piston to valve clearance checked too.
