I am drawing a blank.
I have 2 of them, just don't know the application.
Flat steel plate about 5 inches long.
Two captive studs, two drilled holes.
Big block throttle cable part?

Reminds me of some kind of shifter bracket. But you said you have two of em so…..

Stan, that looks like my big block offset coil bracket. This is the best picture I have. I had to modify mine by slotting the one end.

Okay, I'm going to go waaay out on a limb here and say it's a coil relocation bracket, most likely for a big block with a dual-feed carburetor (since the front line interferes with the stock coil mount) or possibly "big" distributor interference (ie: DUI)...

I'm with TrailBeast. They look like rear seat brackets, maybe for fold down seats, but they also don't look like factory made brackets either.

And a spare just in case?
Why not? I've got entire spare engines... an extra coil bracket is small potatoes!
It could be a seat bracket, but assuming they're both identical then they'd be two from the same side- the opposite side should be a reflection of the other, if I'm not mistaken- so not a set?

If it's factory, it'll have numbers stamped in it.
