Can valve spring dampers be purchase separately?

Check your installed height seat pressure first. You might not want them. Your cam card or spring data sheet should give you that information.

Are you sure they are P4286813 springs and not some substituted springs? Check OD and spring pressure at a known hight, usually open.

If you are talking about that flat wire leave it out. I take those out. And I throw them away.
