Canadian darts?

The 73 Dart Custom 4 door that Im picking up on Monday says that it was manufactured in Canada and it has all the Canada export stickers in the drivers doorjam. Was there anything special for the darts that were made in canada?

km/h instead of mph should be the only difference I can think of off hand

Thats what I thought but this one has MPH. It was made in Canada and sold in Tacoma, Wa to the father of the guy I got it from. I didn't notice anything that seperated it from an American made dart.

They should be all the same. Canada didn't switch over to the metric system until the late '70's. My Scamp was built in the States and sold new here in Canada and there's not a thing different then if it had been sold new in the States. It does have the Transport Canada sticker though.

Any vehicle made in Canada, but is exported will have MPH and everthing that the country will need to be leagal. So other than made in Canada it should be the same as any other for the US market.

Only the earlier cars like '63-66 or somewhere in those years had all the quirky differences. The only other major difference I think of is it will be better built. We Canadians know our ****.

hay guys in 1974 canada was still using the imperial system not the metric if i remember (though i was only 2)

I bet it was a car sold new in Canada and made it's way to the U.S.A. sometime early in it's life. They changed speeos over here in '76 to have both mph and kmh. all Canadian cars sold new here had to have the Canada transport sticker on them in the doorjam. We started to be taught the metric system in school in grade 7 (1975) I still convert to imperial in my head though....but now all I know is, if you give someone a centimeter, they'll take a kilometer!
