Canopy Vinyl Top Trim Clims

I am wanting to install the canopy vinyl top trim across the roof of my 74 Duster but I have not idea what the clips look like that attach the trim to the body.

Are these the clips?

I took a canopy vinyl top off a 73 dat Sport, it had clips in the trim, but also had little mushroom like nubs that wee somehow attached to the metal top itself, kinds like the stud welder rodes that are used to pull out dents in cars. I still have the top, and I'll see if i can yake a pics of the nubs and the clips if i can find them.
