Can't shake vapor lock issue!

I don't believe what was happening to your car could even be correctly characterized as "vapor lock." Alot of people want to think "vapor lock" very time a no-run condition seemingly involving fuel delivery come up. Ethanol has contributed greatly to this conditioning, but along with the vapor lock theory is not always the answer, or even part of the answer.

I'll go with that for sure, it just isn't/wasn't getting fuel at idle in gear which the mechanical fuel pump greatly improved what was happening as well as giving it the power it should have had all along and driveability like a late model car. I couldn't make it die at idle running around this morning before work with it at 190-200 degrees so I just drove it to work. Ethanol is indeed how their killing our old cars.
