HR informed me that Ornamental was also not acceptable..

I was doing a presentation and made the mistake of referring to the big pad as a 'flip chart'. I was informed that 'flip chart' could be offensive to Phillipino persons and should refer to it as a chart pad! True story.. And I no longer work for that lovely company!

You're right about that.
I dated a Dutch lady years ago for awhile. Described just as above but couldn't get past the difference in politics. Having grown up in the Netherlands and still seeing a lot of destruction from WWII, she was very anti-gun.
