Cap and wiring questions (340)

Hi Guys, got a question regarding the correct wiring and designations for the spark plug wiring.

Unfortunately on my cap and wires I see no designation for what goes to what cylinder. Can any one confirm? Also, what is the correct designation for each cylinder? (I believe it is closest cylinder to the fron on the right hand side is number 1 and then left is 2 with the odd numbers being on the right hand side ) Can someone confirm this is correct?

Also, can someone explain how to wire up a Sun Pro tach? I have poewr to it but not sure exactly where the green wire goes. The car has been converted to electronic ignition (Orange box).

I used the instructions that came with the tach. I have a Sun Super Tach II. If I remember the tach wire goes to the negative side of the coil. Been a while since I looked.

driver side is 1,3,5,7 from front...pass side 2,4,6,8 from front of engine...
