Some things that will help..
Resin or wood carb spacer
Fuel return line to tank (from bowl or get a 3 barb fuel filter)
Electric fuel pump
If you still using a mech pump - make a heat shield for it or even try a isolating gasket from block
Re-route or insulate fuel lines
