Hi need some advice.
I have a 1973 318 with 904 transmission, Headers, Holley street dominator intake, currently running an Edelbrock 1406 (600 CFM) that I need to replace and was considering moving to the Edelbrock 1906 (650 CFM).

I will be upgrading the ignition soon and will also be changing out my rear 7 1/4 with 2:73 gears to something better and deeper.

Will the 650 CFM be too big of a carb?

I would endorse that 100%.
Thanks - Edelbrock tech support recommended the 500 CFM instead of the 650… for a “snappier” build. But my concern is losing the top end…
