I went all out and got myself a four barrel 670 cfm avenger Holley carb for my 289 V8 67'. But I didn't even think about getting an intake manifold. Which kind would best match the carb that i got?

You don't match the intake to the carb other than you make sure the carb bolts up to the intake. You match the intake to the engine and driving habits. For a small cube engine you want a dual plane and the Edelbrock Air-Gap is pretty much the best there is for any engine up to 6000 rpm. Your 670 will bolt up to an Air-gap.

Anton, welcome to the board, we do MoPars, not Fords or other s, but your question is easy enuff to answer.

Remember this in the future, simple question, simple answer, the more I (we) know what is going on with the car/engine/it's set up and intended useage, the better the answer will be.

For a 289 cube engine, and not racing it or seriously looking for big street HP power, as in 1.3 HP per cube, the Edelbrock performer is an excellent choice. I also think a 670 rather large.

Look for a Ford site, you'll be in much better hands.
