Hey guys well tonight i finally riped apart my holley carb with my friends assistance, and he was telling me on how he and others have put metering blocks on the secondary sides of holley's so you have jets you can tune, this also eliminates having to drill the secondary holes to flow more for fuel. Anyone have any other tips tricks or just random carb knowledge that i can gain from reading more. thanks

dang i should put this under fuel, my bad, adam if you want please move this thread if you can. thanks or inform me to move it i shall

yes. i put a secondary metering block on my 750 vs holley. it really helps to tune it. file the metering plate in the trash.
remember that a power valve in front is worth about 8 jet sizes to the rear.
i.e. 66 up front, 74 rear.

FWIW, Quick Fuel Technology sells a billet metering plate that accepts standard screw in jets. It is a simple replacement of the existing plate.

It's a little less than a secondary metering block kit. They are available from Summit.
