Carb ID Carter AFB number 2

Hi Guys I need some assistance please - I have an AFB with me with the following number Stamped on the vertical surface of the frontfacing lefthand mounting flange B8 9162S, it has an electric choke I need as much info as possible please as it is in very good condition ands I would like to use it. Carter has never kept a good record on WHAT its carb numbers mean - and from what I found out it seams they have used 3 numbering system over the years
