Carb Question, please identify

This was supposed to be a 1920, I ordered from a online store and this is what I got. Any suggestions, or answers would be great. Can I make this carb work?

That is a 1945 model, i could not tell you what year it seems to be missing some stuff i have on the one in the garage. You could make it work but i have heard the 1920 would be a better carb. Someone else could probly elaberate alot more as my expertice is not with the one barrel carbs!
I also don't like the fact it looks like it has been spray painted silver....

Wicked six is correct its a 1945. I would send it back as "part not as described" and get a good 1920. SS Dan on the .org site has NEW ones(not rebuilt crap) or you can pick up a used one for 30-60 in good shape.
