I have a Holley 1920 carb. I am having trouble getting my engine to idle correctly. I have heard that I may need to adjust the float setting on my carb. How is that done?
Thanks!
Thomas

you have to pull the carb off for this one. i had to rebuild my 1920 a while back cause it was leaking and grimy.
you should also get a rebuild kit or at least gaskets.
remove the float bowl cover, turn the carb upside down, and measure the distance between the top of the float and the roof of the float chamber. should be.... sorry just realized i dont know the distance....should be something like 3/16" 3/32"??? dont quote me on those. find that out.
then theres a tab you can see that sticks off the side of the pivot point of the float, just bend that forward or backward to acheive the desired float height.

also, dont forget to hose the whole thing down with carb cleaner, in and out.
