carlisle 2007 smoke show

Had to try the smoke show this year at Carlisle. Didn't win, I had to stop when the tire caught fire, but had a blast while it lasted! Stroker small block in 2nd gear!!:toothy10:

i saw that! i wondered what happened to it. i figured it must have ahd some old fix-a-flat in it and a spark caught it on fire. either way i looked cool!

Steel belted radial tire's tend to do that from what I have herd.:read2:
To bad you did not check your mileage before the burn out.
Or should I say Burn up.

No damage, just a lot of soot it washed off easy with soap and water. I think the intence heat melted the air shock hose and the blast of air ignited the tire!
