Just a heads up to let all of the NC, SC, TN, GA, FL, VA folks that attend Mopars at The Rock Show at Rockingham Dragway and the Piedmont Mopar Car Club show at Farmington Dragway of a change in Schedule. Rockingham Dragway has moved the Spring Mopars at The Rock show from its usual spot in April to May 16th this year. Unfortunately, that puts the 2 best Mopar shows in the Carolinas happening on back-to-back weekends, as Piedmont Mopars annual show is on May 9th, which is its usual spot on the Farmington Dragway schedule. I probably won't be in a position of picking one or the other, but if I were....I would be going to Farmington, hands down.
It appears that Rockingham Dragway moved the spring Mopar show because the track will be closed on the usual weekend in April in order to rake in money for parking and camping due to NASCAR returning to racing at the Legendary Rockingham oval track across the road from the Dragstrip.
Rockingham Dragway also moved the Fall Mopars at The Rock show from it's usual early Nov. slot on the schedule back to Oct. 31st.
Plan accordingly ladies and gentlemen!
