Carpet and steering wheels

Are the stock 70's 3 spoke steering wheels supposed to be perfectly round or are they kinda sorta roundish. I have 3 of them and they are not perfectly round.

Who makes the best stock replacement carpet kits (one peice preferred) that are premolded so you don't have to trim anything off?

I dont think anyone makes a 1 piece carpet. They are 2 piece from the factory. I put a trim parts carpet in mine.

How much trimming did you have to do?

Not much. Just on the sides under the sill plates. A floor shift will have more cutting involved.

I forgot to ask you, are you still looking for a set of door pannels for the scamp? We took the cream colored ones out of my girlfriends 72 scamp and they are just sitting in my dads shop. I cant remeber how nice they are but I will take some pics of them this weekend when Im out there if ya want.

They do make a 1 piece carpet I don't remeber what brand it is but I bought one off ebay for my dart for about $115.
